Qualifications:
Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma required.
Experience working in an educational setting preferred.
Working knowledge of computers (All Google Applications - Word, Excel, Calendar, etc.
, Microsoft Word, Excel and software programs such as Rediker specifically designed for schools).
Secretarial skills including typing, filing, and answering the phone; the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work with direct and indirect supervision; excellent organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills - being able to deal with students, parents, staff and the public in an amiable and courteous manner.

REPORTS TO:
School Principal and Executive Secretaries JOB GOAL:
To assist School Administration in providing delivery of all school services to students, staff, parents, and the community.
PERFORMANCE
Responsibilities:
Provide and maintain a record keeping system for the main office by:
Organizing attendance, student records, and other reports.
Registering all new students, sending for their school records and assigning proper homerooms by keeping all student population numbers up-to-date at all times.
Withdrawing students - being sure they have all the proper paperwork and that all books are returned.
Preparing for the new school year for students and teachers (i.
e.
, bus lists, homeroom lists, distributing materials, lunch forms, etc.
).
Providing and/or designing forms when needed (i.
e.
, attendance forms, late slips, progress reports, etc.
) for efficiency and accuracy.
Keeping all records current and up-to-date by changing student data in the database when necessary.
All other duties as assigned by the School Principal or Executive Secretaries.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
